Nixon, one of my all-time fav makers of watches, just launched the RPM Over-Ear DJ Headphones available in white, black/silver and black/gold. These phones come with 40mm drivers tuned for DJ monitoring, articulating joints, gel filled ear cushions and an interlocking 2m coiled cable as well as an additional iPhone compatible cable (1.3m and braided) with a remote and microphone if you want to use it while commuting instead. Oh, and a molded travel case.

Here’s The Trooper 3 Button, a pair of really good looking headphones by Nixon, makers of awesome watches – among other things. The 3 button model comes with a mic and volume buttons, but there’s a cheaper model without them as well. It doesn’t really show on the pictures, but there’s a big ring on the side of one of the earpieces you can turn to adjust the volume. The band is foldable for easy storage as well.

Another feature worth mentioning is the fact that you can disconnect the cord from the earpiece, so if it would break you can always exchange it, or just be able to store it more safely in a bag.

The Trooper 3 Button is available in white and matte black and you can find it for about $50 on Amazon ($60 on Nixon’s site)

Nixon strikes back with The Re-Run; another stylish, minimalistic, retro-ish watch which (besides the apparent looks) sports custom 4 function digital with calendar, dual time, alarm, countdown timer and backlight. Both casing and band is made of stainless steel with molded ABS pushers and hardened mineral crystal.

The Re-Run is available in all black, black, gold and silver and will cost you about $80 to $100 depending on model.

Ah, over-sized timepieces, what would the world be without ‘em? Nixon strikes back with The Murf; another fine retro watch sporting a stainless steel case and band, Japanese direct drive quartz (two discs with hours and minutes), LED back-light and it’s waterproof down to 30 meters.

The Murf is available in all black, white (metal), metal with a dark wood panel and blue / yellow.
