No more annoying mouse clicks
USB | Thursday, December 27th 2007
Anyone who’s ever lived with someone in a compact apartment knows how easy it is to annoy your partner with mouse clicks while he/she desperately tries to sleep. The Buffalo Silent Mouse is designed to eliminate those click sounds, helping to make your computer session a whole lot less noisy (granted that you don’t have a keyboard with tactile keys).
Besides the ultra-silent click feature it’s a pretty basic and straight-forward optical mouse with 800dpi and USB 2.0 connectivity, available in black and silver.

A concept-made-reality by HD3 Complication
Style | Watches | Thursday, December 27th 2007

Here’s the Vulcania, a steampunk concept watch designed by Fabrice Gonet and made into reality by HD3 Complication. Don’t get your hopes up on getting one of these titanium and platinum Jules Verne and submarine influenced masterpieces though, there’s only eleven made (which in turn indicates a pretty impressive price tag, sigh).

Hand-painted camo ornaments for the X-mas tree
Home | Style | Sunday, December 23rd 2007

I’m just getting ready to head off to my folk’s place to celebrate Christmas and I couldn’t find a more suiting product to write about than another Art. Lebedev Studio creation; SHAR-404. A set of six hand-painted glass camouflage balls for the X-mas tree. That’s subtle tree decoration if any.
Anyway, Merry Christmas everyone!

Change its appearance by the press of a button
Gadgets | Watches | Sunday, December 9th 2007

I’ve covered alot of clocks and watches lately, but this is the Phosphor Ana-Digi, one of the first (affordable) watches to feature an E Ink display. This means that you get regular, analog hands and the possibility to change the background and dials by a simple press of a button. Go from a standard, minimalistic digital display on black background to a white background with numbers, etc. Pretty neat.
“The watch dial itself utilizes a revolutionary E Ink electronic paper display that possesses a paper-like, high contrast appearance in any mode.”
The Phosphor Ana-Digi is available on pre-order now, both the leather and polyurethane band models costs $250.
