
The device pictured above is a (supposedly) new smartphone from Hong Kong featuring a 3.5" QVGA display, transparent protective lid, bluetooth stereo, 2 megapixel camera and – here’s the weird part – integrated 7.1 surround sound.
“Why on earth would anyone want 7.1 surround sound if all the speakers sit right next to each other, wouldn’t it just sound like one big mono speaker?” I hear you ask. Well.. Uhm.. I really don’t know. If you see Hong Kong businessmen pressing their cellphones to their foreheads in desperate attempts to separate the channels this might just be the reason.
