The Glow Brick is a solid brick of acrylic resin with a real lightbulb trapped inside of it. The bulb is filled with pigments that charges by daylight and then emits a nice, warm glow (created by photoluminescence) at night.
“The mysterious optical effect is caused by light diffracting in the tiny space between the glass of the light bulb and the resin – this space forms when the resin shrinks by a tiny amount during the production process.”
The Glow Bricks are available in blue and green and measures 3.3" x 3.3" x 5".
