Dell Crystal Display

Dell Crystal Display

Oh yeah, it looks like the design dep. over at Dell has started to think outside the box a little nowdays. This is Crystal, a stylish 22-inch widescreen display made in 4mm thin and ultra-clear tempered glass with capacitive touch-controls at the bottom.

Other goodies include a resolution of 1680×1050 (WSXGA+) with 2ms response time, a built-in webcam, four integrated speakers (with a subwoofer output), a tripod stand and a single (slightly fatter) cable to reduce desk clutter.

Keep it up Dell, I like what I see here.

Ahhh, Dell, why not take the extra step and offer the 1900 x 1200 resolution, which is pretty much the standard for that size monitor? I would have plunked down the twelve hundred in a heartbeat, but as a fervent Blu-Ray watcher and FPS gamer – Crysis, WoW, Half-Life 3 (well, soon maybe) – I will have to wait until I can get the resolution I gotta have (snif).
