Ever since the premiere of the first Star Wars movie scientists all over the world has been working night and day to create working lightsaber prototypes. While they are not quite there yet we’ll just have to settle with the next best thing: Darth Vader lightsaber replicas that can protect us from the rain by just a push of a button. Not quite the same, but a step in the right direction I guess.
