MB&F Horological Machine 4: Thunderbolt

MB&F (Maximilian Büsser & Friends) brings you HM4 Thunderbolt; number four in their Horological Machines series. This exceptional aviation-inspired time piece sports three hands, one for the hours, one for minutes and one as power reserve indicator. It took MB&F three years to develop the HM4 and each of the 300+ components was developed specifically for it, even the screws. Oh, and the strap is made of hand-stitched calfskin with a titanium and white gold buckle.

There’s no word on pricing but.. well, take a guess. Those 300 custom components won’t come cheap.

Momentum Fortis Watch by Rolf Sachs

This is Momentum, a limited edition blackboard-style watch designed by Rolf Sachs for Swiss watch makers Fortis. Stylish? Ugly? I might lean a bit more to the latter, but who am I to judge, you got to admit it’s original. It comes with a hefty price tag though, expect to pay up around $1050 for it.

Cassette Tape Watch

ASOS Cassette Tape Watch

Ah. Everything that resembles compact cassette tapes looks like a winner in my eyes. This chunky cassette tape watch in shock-resistant stainless steel uses the two spools to tell the time. Neat indeed.

(It would probably go well with your cassette tape USB flash drive, cassette tape MP3 player and luxurios cassette tape belt buckle in 18K gold too.)
