Audi Mobile Device

Porsche and Hummer has their own cell phones, so why not Audi? Here’s the Audi Mobile Device, presented as part of the future A1 model (Metroproject Quattro).

This Wi-Fi and touch-screen enabled device docks nicely in your vehicle and functions not only as a 3G UMTS cell phone but also as a navigation unit, audio/video player, remote control and authorization system for your car. Cold day outside? Why not connect to your car while having your morning coffee in the kitchen and tell it to turn on the heating system and it’ll be nice and toasty for you when its time to go.

The Zune 2 Flash family

Here’s Microsoft’s newest addition to the Zune family, the Zune 2 and the Zune Flash. The black Zune 2 is slightly larger than an iPod classic and sports 80GB of storage (with a 3.2" screen and Zune Premium headphones), the Zune Flash are available with 4GB and 8GB of storage and in four colors (pink, green, black and glossy red). All featuring wireless sync, updated sharing functions, new touch controls and a built-in FM tuner.

Not only that, Microsoft is offering all the new Zune 2 features to those who own a 1st gen Zune through a firmware update. How about that? It won’t even cripple it in the process.

Bang & Olufsen, Samsung Serenata Phone

Remember Bang & Olufsen’s unorthodox cell phone Serene? Well, now they’ve teamed up with Samsung and their music player / cell phone Serenata is finally official as its successor.

“…featuring two high-quality speaker units which, controlled by advanced digital signal processing, deliver precise reproduction of what’s being said at the other end of the line – or played from your list of favourite tracks. That’s in addition to ICEpower amplifiers which enable a surprisingly powerful sound to emanate from such a small space.”
