Harman Kardon BDS 800 is a new, slick 5.1 home theatre system featuring a 65 watt per channel digital amplifier (Dolby Digital, DTS) capable of playing Blu-ray, DVD/CD and FM-radio as well as media content through the USB port. As for the speakers (which are wall-mountable) you get four identical, two-way, dual-driver satellite speakers, one dedicated two-way, dual-driver center speaker and a subwoofer packing 200 watts.

D-Link’s Boxee Box is finally up for pre-order for those of you living in the US and Canada, and man, I really love the design on this one. This little box is ready to bring you all your tv shows, downloaded movies and streamed DRM-free content right to your HDTV and with a really neat remote sporting a full qwerty keyboard on the backside.

The Boxee Box will have a slightly later launch for Europe and Australia, the release date is set to November 2010.

(If you haven’t tried Boxee yet you can always download it for free and use it on your current Windows, Mac or Linux computer – I’m using a Shuttle PC running Boxee on Ubuntu Linux as media player at home.)

PhoneSuit’s MiLi Pro Projector is a sleek pocket-sized projector built specifically for iPods and iPhones. Just hook it up and it’ll let you project a LED-illuminated 40 inch screen with a maximum resolution of 640×480 (480p). As for connections you get VGA and RCA audio input as well as USB output.

The MiLi Pro will ship in September 2009 but there’s no word on price yet.

Creative Asia announced the 32GB Zen yesterday and besides the obvious excellent storage capabilities it comes with a nice price tag as well; about $378. Cheap? Yes indeed. After all, you do get a credit card sized PMP with 30 hours of music playback (mp3, aac, wma), video (DivX, XviD, WMV, AVI, MPEG4 etc), photos, a 2.5" TFT display and a expansion SD slot.

There’s no word on when the 32GB model will be available globally, but the North American site does include it in the model dropdown (with an ‘out of stock’ mark), hopefully meaning it’ll be available soon.

Here’s the Wizpy by Turbolinux. A versatile little Linux powered thing with a 1.7" OLED screen and 4 GB of storage that can do pretty much anything. Web, RSS, E-mail, VoIP, photos, play and record videos, radio and e-books, music (ogg, mp3, aac) etc.

The Wizpy was launched in February 2007 in Japan but now it’s available globally.

This motorized replica of R2-D2 stands 15" tall (about 38cm), responds to 40 different voice commands (like “Turn around!” and “Move forward!”) while being able to navigate rooms and hallways. It’s equipped with an infra-red sensor so he can play games like tag and find you, follow you around or just act as a guard and let you know whenever someone enters the room.

Besides being able to replay sounds from the Star Wars movies and answer yes/no questions it features a rotating top and distinct moods, just like the original. If he goes sad you just need to say “R2, behave yourself” to make him snap right out if it. Hopefully.
