Here’s a video of Microsoft’s new Zune 2 in action and I must admit that the touch/click-combo interface is pretty impressing. Not a touchscreen, but in return your display stays nice and clean.

The Popblaster is a portable stereo speaker system for MP3 players - don’t be fooled by the pictures above though, it’s actually quite large. All models (Black, Green, Cyber and Woody) features stereo speakers, a headphone jack to connect your “iPod, Zune etc” MP3 player and a pocket with a magnetic flap to put the player and the cables in.

If Sony Ericsson’s spherical MBS-100 Bluetooth speaker is a bit too weird for you you might appreciate the sharper edges on the slightly more retro-lookin’ Yamaha NX-B02 Bluetooth Column Speaker instead.
Yamaha promises great sound from this box, just hook it up with a suitable Bluetooth enabled device and you’re set. Available in piano black, white and red.

Here’s MBS-100, Sony Ericssons’ brand new portable Bluetooth speaker - looking somewhat like a miniature version of Darth Vader’s private (and less known) death star.
This cell phone friendly speaker measures 10×10x10 cm and offers wireless streaming through Bluetooth and a 3.5mm line-in for other audio sources. The integrated and rechargeable battery offers 5 hours of playtime per charge.
The MBS-100 will be available sometime during Q4 in selected markets.
I really wish I had one of these the other week when I got tangled up in my headphones’ cord and walked away from the desk, resulting in a nicely bent headphone jack. The Replug is a 3.5mm adapter that works like the magnetic power connector on newer Macs. Just have it connected in between your headphones and your computer and you’ll never have to worry about accidentally damaging the jack - it’ll just disconnect when pulled.
The Replugs are made in black and white and will be available sometime during fall 2007, price not known yet.
Well, I’ll admit that Panasonic’s RP-HTX7 line of headphones has been around a while (since 2006, to be exact), but their looks alone make them worth a mentioning. These headphones pack modern technology in a retro exterior and are available in five different piano-paint colors (green, blue, black, beige and white), each model sporting leather headbands, a 2 meter extension cord and a carrying pouch.

Love ‘em or hate ‘em, the Woofer Speaker System by Buro Vormkrijgers has been around for a while but it’s still a pair of co-axial speakers that manages to stand out from the crowd. Black and white models available.
