Freshpilot.com: Stylish gear and shiny technology

The Online BodyTrace eScale

BodyTrace realized that people need a carrot to lose weight, and a pretty good carrot is the shame of showing that you actually regained the weight you lost online. In comes the eScale, a surprisingly stylish scale connected to the internet, posting your progress (or failure, let’s be realistic) online. The scale costs $119 (including a 3 month subscription of the online service) and then $19.99 per quarter.

So, besides looking at fancy graphs and what-not you get to form groups with friends and family to follow and the website makes suggestions for eating and working out.
