Apple 27" LED Cinema Display

Apple announced the 27-inch LED cinema display over a month ago, but now it’s finally available in Apple Store. Besides the good looks you get a widescreen display with 2560×1440 native resolution, 178° viewing angle, three USB ports, built-in 2.1 speaker system (49 watts), iSight webcam with microphone and LED backlight with 1000:1 contrast ratio.

  • I like it because of the features. his is a nice prosumer grade monitor, with a better price-for-features value than previous models. For color critical work it’s not in the same ballpark as any of the better monitors from Eizo or high-end NEC stuff. Probably on par with LaCie’s over-hyped, rebranded LCDs. Their marketing fluff is extra thick and gooey.
